Seen on the news this morning that Columbia may be getting a dinner train starting in August. It will run on the COLT. I think they are still trying to decide on if the city wants to spend the money or not. trying to find a link on the story to post. If I find one, I'll put it on here.

Columbia approved the train last night. Grant money is being used to bring it there. It will run from columbia north on the colt and then back to Columbia. About a 3 hour round trip.

THEY NOW HAVE A WEB SITE, WHICH STATES THE TRAIN IS STILL BEING WORKED ON OUT OF STATE, BUT THEY WILL HAVE IT IN PLACE SOON. THEY WILL HAVE PACKAGES AND PRICES POSTED ON THEIR WEBSITE SOON. WHAT ABOUT A CLUB OUTING....MAYBE EVEN HOSTING OUR CHRISTMAS GET TOGETHER/MEETING ON THIS EXCURSION. WE WILL HAVE TO WAIT AND SEE THEIR SCHEDULE AND RATES.
